— draw experimentally!
We sensibilize the connection between eye and hand. We trust our eyes and draw a lot of fantastic portraits of each other.
1. DAY — FIRST IMPRESSION
D R A W I N G B L I N D P O R T R A I T S
Never watch on your paper!
Just watch your counterpart and do not take your eyes off her/his face!
Please use only your weak hand and draw with it!
Please use the one-line-method and follow the lines in the face of your drawing partner!
Have fun and enjoy starring at someone!

— TO GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT SOMEONE BY DRAWING
Find a drawing partner and draw him without knowing anything about him!
We are using bandages to cover our skin and separate the face and the hands in parts.
It so much easier to catch a portrait like that.
2. DAY — TAKE A SECOND LOOK

Is “getting to know” each other a proven way to avoid discrimination?
R E D A C T I O N C I R C L E
We discuss the “positive aspects” of discrimination.
Why are people very creative in discriminating?
Thinking about safety, complexity, fear, comfort zone and other reasons to discriminate.
Than we use the 7 tables of the redaction circle to create double pages about one topic.
10 Minutes at every table:
One table, one scotch.
One table, some colored paper.
One table with a ruler, a triangle and 2 pencils
Try to express while using very limited material!
Every participant can consult his work with Sara, Vlada and Johanna (CHEFS!!!)
3 DAY — PARCOUR
D A I L Y P O R T R A I T III
We are searching for drawing techniques to simplify the work with lines and shapes.
We use strings for pattern to “discriminate” / separate the body in different parts. It helps us to find our own favorite way of drawing to catch big shapes and small details in the same way.
N A R R A T I O N
Title, Start, Climax, Finale.
Tell stories in 4 small panels.
4 DAY — PRESENTATION
D A I L Y P O R T R A I T IV
We are doing a huge group-portrait all together.
Big paper is no real challenge for us any more.
